the health thing
so, we've been making an effort to eat healthy and drink lots of fluids etc. etc. on the weekend, we come up with a meal plan for the week, incorporating lots of protein, fibre, leafy greens, and other such things, and then we do the shopping. we cook healthy dinners, and i pack up the leftovers to bring for lunch.
well, last week i sent my husband out to do the shopping on his own, as i was pooped. so he couldn't find whole-wheat pasta, so he got kamut pasta instead. even healthier!
my advice to you: never eat kamut pasta if you can avoid it. you can really taste the fibre! right now i'm eating leftovers (with a really creamy mushroom sauce and spinach), and you know how re-heated pasta can sometimes get mushy? this stuff is mushy, but still somehow fibrous. it's intense.
in other news, i measured my belly yesterday, and it's a whopping 39 inches! that's a full 50% increase over what my waist is normally! no wonder i'm waddling...
